The art of calligraphy is to discover the beauty of letter forms and at the same time enjoy the peace and stillness that this practice brings. This term we will be building on basic Italics, refining word practice and introducing joined cursive to encourage a wider repertoire. A basic knowledge of Italic handwriting would be useful but not necessary. Beginners and improvers are welcome.
The course will start on Saturday 21 January from 9.30 to 11.00am at Mandeville Place.
