‘On God and the Soul’ was written in the Tuscan dialect when Marsilio Ficino was 24 years of age. Here Ficino gives the views of a number of ancient philosophers on this most significant of subjects and provides his own detailed analysis of the age-old definition of God as ‘a sphere whose centre is everywhere and whose circumference is nowhere’.
Led by Arthur Farndell, the translator of this book, this ten-week Zoom course covers this short work in its entirety. The course will commerce on Friday 15th January 2021, weekly at 9.00am London time, duration one hour.
