Land and Money by Josh Ryan-Collins of the New Economics Foundation

A talk in the Economics with Justice Lectures series given on November 4th 2016

Land and money are two of the most neglected fields in mainstream economics. Dr Ryan-Collins reviews the history of these two areas and examines how they have been erased from modern economic theory. He examines the policy implications of this neglect on the housing affordability crisis and high household debt in the UK. He argues for major structural changes to banking, monetary and fiscal policies to create a sustainable and stable economy.
