The Economics of Energy

Energy is the lifeblood of the economy, though as a society we are broadly 'energy blind'. We know that it exists but are largely unconscious of the pivotal role that it plays. In these classes we will explore how energy has been harnessed over the millennia, where we stand today, and the potential implications for the future for the whole of humanity. We will draw upon the insights of the leading thinkers and communicators to get a sense of this subject.
