Accessibility

Mandeville Place is the London headquarters of the charity, and where our London in-person courses are delivered. Inside Mandeville Place, we have a lift that goes to each floor and an accessible toilet (on the basement level, next to the lift) with emergency pull cord. The entrance to the building has a small step and unfortunately we are not able to have a permanent ramp. We do have a temporary ramp that we can utilise to allow better access to the building.

We would encourage any student with an accessibility or access need, be it temporary or more permanent, to get in touch to discuss what might be needed. Early discussion with the Tutor, and an understanding of what, if any, adjustments might need to be made, will equip us to better ensure that you have the best possible experience attending one of our courses or events.

We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. We continue to make improvements and regularly monitor the website. In addition, we are working to apply best practices throughout our design and development, including:

  • Ensuring sufficient colour contrast and scalable text for readability
  • Using clear and consistent headings, labels, and instructions
  • Training our teams on accessibility best practices
  • Conducting accessibility audits and usability testing
  • Integrating accessibility into the ongoing design and development process
