The Housing crisis, the crash of 2026, and more

We select topics on the basis of world events and the group’s particular interests. Over the last year our main focus has been on the many intertwined aspects of the housing situation, considering the UK, Ireland and Western Australia, and a consideration of what housing would be like if Economic Justice prevailed. Last term almost all of the work done so far was captured in written form. We aim to complete this and to summarised in a short paper the current situation, causes and possible remedies for the UK housing crisis. Fresh studies will include re-visiting the 2026 crash predicted by Fred Harrison and Phil Anderson
