Economics Lecture: Pooling the Public Rent

Speaker: Fred Harrison Director of Land Research Trust

We cannot “build back better” after Covid-19 without the aid of a new social paradigm. The alternative to capitalism, claims Economist and author Fred Harrison, is based on an enriched theory of human evolution. Rent is the living tissue of our humanity. By pooling rent, humans evolved. By privatising rent, we have compromised the future of our species.

Fred Harrison is the Director of Land Research Trust, London. www.sharetherents.org. His new book #WeAreRent, is based on an enriched theory of human evolution.
