Poetry Competition 2021 - rules and submission

In these uniquely challenging times, we encourage young poets to raise their voices and share a message with the world. We are seeking poems about FREEDOM.

Submission
Open to persons up to the age of 25.
Submissions by 10:59 pm GMT May 1st, 2021.

The winner will receive £350, and their poem will be published on our website, and our Facebook and Twitter accounts.
Choosing the winner
Our committee of judges will choose one winner based on:
- Originality
- Creativity
- Technical skill
The winner will be notified on or before 15th August 2021. The judges’ decision will be final. No individual feedback will be given on the poems submitted.
Prize
The winner will receive £350, and their poem will be published on our website and our Facebook and Twitter accounts.
Acceptance of the prize grants the right for the School of Philosophy and Economic Science to use the poem and the poet’s name in their publicity, on the website and in social media.
Rights to the poem remain with the poet.
