Service with Love     

The School is founded on and maintained by service with love. Without that it would come to a halt. Everyone can do something.

Service with love has four characteristics. Firstly it is expansive. Whatever we serve we unite with. The natural tendency is for that to expand into wider circles. Secondly it is creative. Every situation is new and can be met freshly.  Sometimes we are told what to do by others, and at other times we see the need for ourselves and respond. Both are valid and can be approached creatively. Thirdly it is artistic and beautiful. Finally it is fulfilling. A life without service is barren.

Some roles may be suitable for sharing between students.

The recommended initial duration for regular (e.g. weekly) assignments is one term.
