Peace. Illumination. Inner stillness and rest. The inspiration of good company. A chance to meet fellow students in beautiful surroundings. Our next Practice and Study Day at Waterperry House, Oxfordshire is not to be missed!

These termly events have proven very popular, often selling out with up to 40 attending. Several return term after term.

The event is designed to be suitable for students at all stages of their journey with practical philosophy, from the first term onwards. Unfortunately, we do not have space for guests who aren't students with the School on this Study Day.

The fee includes lunch and coffee/tea. Earlybird rate of £25 available until 26 June.

Senior students (i.e. tutors, etc) wishing to support the event through voluntary service have the option of staying overnight before the event. Choose the ticket option "Study Day with overnight stay" which costs just £30. Ask your Branch Leader for further details, timings etc.

On this Study Day we shall focus on accessing stillness of mind in practice and learn how this same Practical Philosophy is taught and manifest in many different systems around the world.

• It is taught as Vedanta by Shankara in India and around the world
• It was taught as Taoism in ancient China and by various indigenous cultures such as Dadirri in Australia
• It was and is taught in the West in the Academy at Athens and in Florence and in our School
• It was demonstrated by Eileen Gu at the 2026 Winter Olympics

We can find it everywhere because the Silence and Stillness permeate all sound and movement.

Refund policy for Study Days

• 50% refund available upon request, up to a week before the event.
• No refunds during the final week or on the day.
• You have the option of transferring the fee to the next event.
